HP is seeking a Product Design Engineer for HP IQ in San Francisco, blending creativity, engineering and design to turn ideas into prototypes and production-ready devices. You will design mechanical parts using NX, create drawings, run experiments, evaluate materials, and work with hardware, software and industrial design teams to move concepts from ideation to production.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, or related field.
• Experience with 3D CAD (Siemens NX preferred) for mechanical parts.
• Hands-on prototyping and testing of mechanical designs.
• Strong fundamentals in mechanical engineering.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts to diverse audiences.
• Team player in fast-paced, multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Design mechanical parts and assemblies for consumer devices using 3D CAD.
• Create 2D drawings, define tolerances, and coordinate with vendor partners.
