Our client is a well-established manufacturing company seeking a Product Engineer to join their team. This role focuses on improving existing products, solving manufacturing challenges, and working closely with production teams rather than only pursuing new product development.

You will design, modify, and refine components, develop solutions to enhance performance and cost efficiency, and collaborate with manufacturing to implement changes across production lines.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in product design and manufacturing.
• Strong experience with SolidWorks.
• Experience modifying and improving existing products rather than solely designing new products.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and design for manufacturability.
• Ability to work collaboratively with manufacturing, production, and other engineering teams.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, modify, and improve existing products and components.
• Develop engineering solutions to improve product performance, quality, cost, and manufacturability.
• Create and modify detailed CAD models, drawings, and documentation.
• Work closely with manufacturing and cross-functional teams to implement product changes.
• Troubleshoot design and production issues and recommend practical solutions.
• Support product changes and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Evaluate materials, designs, and manufacturing processes.
• Help ensure designs are practical, efficient, and manufacturable.
