Qualifications

• Proven experience taking mechanical products from concept through production
• Strong proficiency with SolidWorks
• Experience designing sheet metal or injection-molded components
• Understanding of DFM/DFA principles
• Experience creating detailed engineering drawings, BOMs, and production documentation
• Experience with tolerance stack-ups and basic FEA, stress, and thermal analysis
• Hands-on prototyping, testing, validation, and design troubleshooting
• Ability to work with manufacturing teams and suppliers to resolve issues
• Experience with airflow, ventilation, fans, HVAC, or related mechanical products is desirable
• Lean/Six Sigma or continuous-improvement experience a plus
