Job summary

Holt Manufacturing seeks an experienced Product Design Electrical Engineer for its Waco, Texas location. You will create and analyze electrical designs and documentation for Holt products, managing designs from concept through completion.

You will lead technical reviews, define electrical specs, and modify drawings for customer and manufacturing needs while ensuring safety and quality objectives. This role requires collaboration across teams and strict adherence to standards.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) required.
• Three years product design experience; six years preferred.
• Experience with electrical standards such as NRTL.

Responsibilities

• Lead reviews of project specs with engineering and operations.
• Define electrical specifications and perform calculations.
• Modify drawings for customer and manufacturing changes.
• Create/modify electrical designs and BOMs.
• Verify designs meet safety, manufacturability, quality goals.
• Assist in electrical installation/control systems.
• Adhere to safety policies and company standards.
