Job summary

FARIBAULT MILL in Faribault, MN seeks a Product Design & Development Associate to turn concepts into production-ready products across soft home categories. You will work with design, production, sales, and vendors to preserve design integrity, quality, cost, and manufacturability.

You will develop embroidery designs, create digitized files, and support personalization services through the direct-to-consumer channel. Strong CAD and Adobe skills, plus textile knowledge, are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or related experience in textile/apparel design
• 2+ years in product development or textile design
• Experience in manufacturing settings
• Strong portfolio with print, pattern, CAD, and product development
• Proficiency in Photoshop/Illustrator and MS Office

Responsibilities

• Design and develop products using concepts, mockups, and design decks for clients
• Translate concepts into production-ready woven, sewn, and embroidered products
• Create CAD renderings, line sheets, presentations, and artwork for concepts
• Maintain technical spec packets including artwork, color, construction, materials, and dimensions
• Coordinate prototypes, lab dips, and first article samples with vendors
• Support embroidery designs and digitized files for production and customization
