Entegris, Inc. in Colorado Springs, CO is seeking a Product Design Co-Op for the Spring 2027 season.

This full-time, 6-month assignment will involve collaborating with a Senior Product Engineer to validate and qualify new injection-molded components for the FOUP product line, combining design, simulation, and project management. You will participate in a product-team environment, make small CAD changes, perform analyses, build pre-production samples, and document results.

The Role:

Our site in Colorado Springs, CO is seeking a Product Design Co-Op to join our team for the Spring 2027 season. This assignment is intended to be fulltime, 6 months in duration.

As a Product Design Intern, you will work closely with a Senior Product Engineer and collaborate with other engineers within the Advanced Purity Solutions Division of Entegris. During this Co-Op, you will focus on the validation and qualification of new injection molded components for our FOUP product line. This Co-Op requires a mixture of simulation, product design abilities, and project management skills. The team's focus is on the development of wafer transport and processing products used by integrated device makers (IDMs), original equipment makers (OEMs), and wafer growers in the semiconductor industry. Our customers demand high quality, consistent, reliable, and clean products to produce high tech devices.

What You’ll Do:

• Participate as a member of a product team developing Entegris' next generation products
• Make small changes to CAD models
• Perform engineering analysis
• Construct pre-production samples for empirical validation
• Recommend product performance and qualification test parameters
• Document validation results and interpret, document, report, and present interim and final engineering findings

What We Seek:

• Knowledge of mechanics of materials and basic fluid mechanics
• 3D CAD design (SolidWorks or Pro-Engineer preferred)
• Experience with and/or knowledge of statistics is a plus
• Desired Major(s) & Graduation Year: Desired Major: Mechanical Engineering Must be enrolled in an undergraduate program with completion of junior year

Must be a currently enrolled student Available to work 40 hours a week, M-F (8a-5p) beginning in January through June Must be familiar with the university’s requirements to participate in a co‑op program
