This part-time role involves sampling products for suppliers within a Sam’s Club location. Demonstrators introduce customers to new items and brands through product tastings, sampling, or demonstrations. Prior experience in customer service, food handling, bartending, serving, cashiering, stocking, or brand advocacy is beneficial but not required.

Responsibilities

1. Engage customers and communicate key product points.
2. Ensure compliance with food safety requirements during sample preparation (cooking, processing, plating, serving).
3. Work with the team to meet sales goals for the products.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years old (18+ for alcohol and production roles).
• Weekend availability (Friday-Sunday) preferred; weekday and holiday work available.
• Reliable access to a smartphone or tablet on work days.
• Ability to safely operate appliances such as microwave, toaster oven, hot plate.
• Ability to stand for the duration of the event.
• Open to applicants without a high school or college degree, with no experience, returning to the workforce, or military experience. Training provided.

Work Environment

Moderate to high noise levels typical of a retail grocery environment. Exposure to cold, refrigerated conditions, food products, and cleaning chemicals.
