This part-time associate samples products for suppliers within a Sam’s Club location. Responsibilities include introducing customers to new items through tastings, sampling, or demonstrations. Customer service, food handling, bartending, serving, cashiering, stocking, or brand ambassador experience is beneficial but not required.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring compliance with food safety requirements during sample preparation (cooking, processing, plating, serving)
• Working with the team to achieve sales goals

Qualifications

• Must be 16 years old (18+ for alcohol and production roles)
• Availability on weekends preferred; holidays and weekdays also available
• Reliable access to a smartphone or tablet on workdays
• Ability to safely operate appliances (microwave, toaster oven, hot plate)
• Ability to stand for the duration of the event
• Open to applicants without a high school or college degree, with no experience, returning to work, or military experience. Training provided.

Work Environment

Moderate to high noise levels typical of a retail grocery environment. Exposure to cold, refrigerated conditions, food products, and cleaning chemicals.
