This part-time role involves sampling products for suppliers within a Sam’s Club location. Product Demonstrators introduce customers to new items and brands through tasting events, sampling, or demonstrations. Experience in customer service, food handling, bartending, serving, cashiering, stocking, brand advocacy, or related fields is beneficial but not required.

Responsibilities

• Engaging customers to communicate key points about products.
• Ensuring compliance with food safety requirements while preparing samples (cooking, processing, plating, serving).
• Working with the team to achieve sales goals for the products.

Qualifications

• Must be 16 years of age (18+ for alcohol and production roles).
• Weekends (Friday-Sunday) preferred; holidays and weekday work available.
• Reliable access to a smartphone or tablet on workdays.
• Ability to safely use appliances (microwave, toaster oven, hot plate).
• Ability to stand for the duration of the event.
• Open to applicants without a high school or college degree, with no experience, or returning to the workforce. Training is provided.

Work Environment

Moderate to high noise levels typical of a retail grocery environment. Some exposure to cold, refrigerated conditions, food products, and cleaning chemicals.
