Job description

This part-time associate role involves sampling products for suppliers within a Sam's Club location. Product Demonstrators introduce customers to new items and brands through tastings, sampling, or demonstrations. Experience in customer service, food handling, bartending, serving, cashiering, stocking, or brand advocacy is beneficial but not required.

Responsibilities

1. Engage customers and communicate key points about products.
2. Ensure compliance with food safety requirements when preparing samples (cooking, processing, plating, serving).
3. Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals for the products.

Qualifications

1. Must be at least 16 years old (18+ for alcohol and production roles).
2. Reliable access to a smartphone or tablet on work days.
3. Ability to safely operate appliances such as microwaves, toaster ovens, and hot plates.
4. Ability to stand for the duration of the event.
5. Open to applicants without a high school or college degree, with no experience, returning to the workforce, or with military experience. Training is provided online and on the job.

Work environment may involve moderate to high noise levels typical of retail grocery warehouses. Exposure to cold, refrigerated conditions, food products, and cleaning chemicals is possible.
