This part-time associate role involves sampling products for suppliers within a Sam’s Club location. Product Demonstrators introduce customers to new and exciting items and brands through product tasting events, sampling, or demonstrations. Customer service, food handling, bartending, serving, cashiering, stocking, or brand ambassador experience is beneficial but not required.

Responsibilities

• Engage customers to communicate key points about products.
• Ensure compliance with food safety requirements while preparing samples (cooking, processing, plating, serving).
• Collaborate with the team to achieve sales goals for the products.

Qualifications

• Must be 16 years of age (18+ for alcohol and production roles).
• Availability on weekends (Friday-Sunday) preferred; holidays and weekdays also available.
• Reliable access to a smartphone or tablet on workdays.
• Ability to safely use appliances (microwave, toaster oven, hot plate).
• Ability to stand for the duration of the event.
• We welcome applicants without a high school or college degree, with no experience, returning to the workforce, or with military experience. Comprehensive online and/or on-the-job training will be provided.

Work Environment

• Moderate to high noise levels typical of a retail grocery warehouse environment.
• Some exposure to cold, refrigerated conditions, food products, and cleaning chemicals.
