This part-time role involves sampling products for suppliers within a Sam’s Club location. Product Demonstrators introduce customers to new items and brands through tasting events, sampling, or demonstrations. Customer service, food handling, bartender, server, cashier, stocker, demonstrator, brand ambassador, or brand advocate experience is beneficial but not required.

Responsibilities

1. Engaging customers to communicate key points about products.
2. Ensuring compliance with food safety requirements during sampling (cooking, processing, plating, serving).
3. Working with the team to achieve sales goals for the products.

Qualifications

• Must be 16 years of age (18+ for alcohol and production roles).
• Availability on weekends (Friday-Sunday) preferred; holidays and weekdays also available.
• Reliable access to a smartphone or tablet on workdays.
• Ability to safely operate appliances (microwave, toaster oven, hot plate).
• Ability to stand for the duration of the event.
• No high school or college degree required; we welcome applicants without experience or those returning to the workforce. Training provided.

Work Environment

Moderate to high noise levels typical of a retail grocery environment. Some exposure to cold, refrigerated conditions, food products, and cleaning chemicals.
