Job summary

RTX, a leading aerospace and defense company, seeks a Product Definition Project Lead to support the Mechanical Systems, Externals, and Nacelles Engineering team. You will ensure PD deliverables meet CIPT schedules and EKS requirements while coordinating with CIPT, Design, PD, Industrial and Manufacturing to keep hardware on track.

You will gain exposure to Product Definition processes, data management with Teamcenter and Siemens NX, and MB/ TDP package development within aerospace propulsion

Qualifications

• A STEM degree with 2 years of related experience or an advanced degree in a related field.
• Experience in PD, engineering data management using Teamcenter, engineering change processes, MBD/TDP docs, project scheduling, and cross-functional collaboration in aerospace/mechanical systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage engineering data in Teamcenter, coordinating with DMU/PD teams to create and revise BOM-driven data.
• Coordinate with CIPT, Design, PD, Industrial and Manufacturing to ensure on-time hardware deliveries and schedule alignment.
• Execute PD engineering standard work across design phases, ensuring requirements, deliverables, and processes are complete and on schedule.
• Prepare, package, and manage engineering change release docs in Teamcenter, ensuring proper approvals.
• Coordinate engineering changes to deliver MBDefinition (MBD) and TDP packages meeting EKS requirements.
