Job summary

The GE Aerospace Product Definition Engineering Intern will help define parts and assemblies using Unigraphics and Teamcenter, producing 2D drawings and 3D models while assessing GD&T requirements to maximize manufacturability.

Under guidance, you will support design, test, and integration activities, document results, and collaborate across teams to meet cost, schedule, and quality targets for aerospace components.

Qualifications

• Must have at least a 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale (without rounding)
• Working towards a degree in a technical field of study
• Attending a full-time matriculated technical program

Responsibilities

• With guidance, creates definition of parts, modules, and assemblies in 2D/3D models to support analysis, manufacturing, assembly, tooling, quality and inspection
• Support engineering to perform design, test, or integration to meet requirements within PDE scope
• Document and communicate results of technical data generated
• Participate on teams assigned to address specific initiatives
• Collaborate between organizations to assure part design compatibility
• Maintain quality and ensure schedule requirements are met
