Job summary

GE Aerospace is seeking a Designer Intern to define parts and assemblies using 2D drawings and 3D models in a linked model environment. You will determine GD&T, support manufacturing capabilities, and execute projects under supervision.

The role requires you to be enrolled in a full-time technical program with a 3.0 GPA, work authorization in the U.S., and no visa sponsorship. Relocation and housing assistance may be available for eligible candidates.

Qualifications

• GPA of at least 3.0 (without rounding).
• Pursuing a degree in a technical field of study.
• Attending a full-time matriculated technical program.

Responsibilities

• Create definitions of parts, modules, and assemblies in 2D/3D formats to support analysis and manufacturing.
• Assist engineering to design, test, or integrate components per standards and program requirements.
• Document and communicate results of technical data generated.
• Participate on teams addressing specific initiatives.
• Collaborate across organizations to ensure part design compatibility.
• Follow GE policies, standards, and security requirements.
• Maintain project quality and meet schedule requirements.
