Job summary

IDEX is a diversified global company seeking a Product Data Management Specialist in Linthicum, MD. This role focuses on creating, maintaining, and governing product data across ERP and engineering systems to ensure accuracy of item masters, BOMs, routings, and related records throughout the product lifecycle.

You will work with Engineering and Operations to support new product introductions, engineering changes, and manufacturing readiness, while administering CAD, PDM, and PLM documentation

Qualifications

• Associate degree or technical certification, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience working with ERP systems.
• Experience maintaining structured product data, documentation, or records.
• Experience with ERP, PDM, PLM, CAD, or other engineering data management systems preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Create, maintain, and govern product data in ERP and engineering systems for US Valve and affil iated units.
• Maintain item masters, BOMs, routings, and related product records.
• Support new product introductions and engineering changes through data management.
• Administer engineering documents within CAD, PDM, and PLM file servers.
• Prepare reports and data analyses from ERP and engineering systems.
• Assist in projects related to ERP, PLM, PDM, and related systems enhancements.
• Perform Engineering Technician duties when necessary.
• Other duties as assigned.
