Fora is building a world-class Data Science & Analytics team in New York City. We seek a manager to lead the Product Data Science pillar, pairing with Core Product to drive decisions, experiments, and features.

You will balance leadership with hands-on data work, guiding senior contributors while rolling up your sleeves. You will partner with Product, Engineering, and Design to define success metrics, set roadmaps, and raise analytical rigor across the organization.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in data science or analytics, including 2+ years managing data scientists or analysts.
• Experience building or scaling a product analytics function.
• Deep experimentation expertise with robust measurement standards.
• Hands-on depth: advanced SQL and proficiency in Python or scripting language.
• Experience with modern cloud data stack and data modeling best practices.
• Experience using LLM tools to accelerate analysis and prototyping.
• Track record of hiring and developing strong data people.
• Strong communication and storytelling with senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow the Product Data Science pillar; hire and develop a team.
• Partner with Core Product to define objectives and deliverables.
• Own experimentation standards and measurement rigor across product.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Design to shape roadmap.
• Review analyses, unblock problems, and set quality standards for the team.
