Product Data & Digital Operations Specialist - EST hours!

• 12-Month Contract
• Fully Remote (Must Be Able to Work EST Hours)
• 40 Hours per Week
• Pay Rate: $35-$40/hour on W2
• Candidates must be authorized to work directly on a W2 basis without sponsorship. No C2C arrangements.

Summary Sony Electronics is seeking a detail-oriented and technically minded Product Data & Digital Operations Specialist to support the management and governance of product information, digital assets, content syndication, and launch operations across multiple business systems.

This role serves as a key operational resource for maintaining product data accuracy, supporting new product launches, managing content syndication feeds, coordinating downstream integrations, and ensuring data consistency across various platforms.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, analytical, comfortable working with large datasets, and excels at coordinating activities across business, technical, and vendor teams.

Key Responsibilities

Product Information Management (PIM)

• Support day-to-day administration and maintenance of the Pimcore platform.
• Execute product setup, updates, validation, and lifecycle management activities.
• Review and maintain product attributes, specifications, images, documents, and marketing assets.
• Monitor data quality and identify inconsistencies across systems.
• Assist in governance and process improvement initiatives related to product data.

Product Launch Management

• Support launch readiness activities, including embargo management, feed refreshes, testing, validation, and go-live support.
• Track launch status and elevate issues impacting launch schedules.
• Partner with business units to ensure timely availability of product content and assets.

Content Syndication Operations

• Support onboarding and setup of new SKUs and product pages.
• Monitor syndication feeds and investigate content delivery issues.
• Coordinate with external vendors and retailers to resolve content discrepancies.
• Assist in testing and validation of syndicated content updates.

Downstream System Support

• Investigate and troubleshoot issues impacting data flow to internal downstream systems and syndication partners.
• Coordinate with technical teams and vendors to drive issue resolution.

Operational Reporting & Analysis

• Analyze product data quality trends and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Assist with audits, cleanup initiatives, and process documentation.
• Maintain SOPs, workflows, and operational guides.

Cross-Functional Coordination

• Serve as a liaison between business units, marketing, service, operations, IT, vendors, and offshore support teams.
• Participate in project meetings and provide operational support for system enhancements.
• Coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT) and deployment validation activities.
• Assist in gathering and documenting business requirements.

Required Qualifications

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Information Systems, Digital Operations, or a related field.

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience supporting digital commerce, product information management, content operations, or related disciplines.
• Experience working with product databases, content management systems, or PIM platforms.
• Experience supporting product launches or operational programs.
• Experience working across multiple stakeholders and departments.

Technical Skills

• Experience with product data management or content platforms.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables, lookups, and data analysis.
• Familiarity with APIs, data feeds, data imports, and system integrations.
• Experience working with digital asset management systems.
• Knowledge of eCommerce, retailer content requirements, or content syndication processes preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Pimcore or similar PIM platforms.
• Experience supporting retailer syndication programs.
• Familiarity with SAP, Dealer/Reseller Portals, or digital commerce ecosystems.
• Understanding of product lifecycle management processes.
• Experience coordinating with external vendors and offshore support teams.

Estimated Min Rate: $35.00
