Job summary

Voodoo is seeking a data analyst to act as a trusted advisor on data collection, analysis, and reporting across our games. You will lead analyses of large datasets to understand player behavior and identify opportunities to grow engagement, retention, and monetization.

You will translate insights into actionable recommendations for game design and the product roadmap, collaborating with designers, product managers, and developers to embed data-driven strategies throughout the game lifecycle.

Qualifications

• At least 4 years of analytical experience in gaming, tech or data-driven industry with product teams.
• Proficient with SQL and Python or R, with experience handling large, complex datasets.
• Strong knowledge of statistical methods including AB testing.
• Autonomous, detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.
• Able to translate business problems into analytics solutions.
• Pragmatic with ability to prioritize; proactive owner of data for the game.

Responsibilities

• Act as a trusted advisor on data collection, analysis, and reporting.
• Lead analysis of large datasets to understand player behavior and growth opportunities.
• Translate insights into actionable recommendations for game design and roadmap.
