Description: Stripe is seeking a Product Counsel for Data Products to join its Product Legal team. In this role, you will act as a key advisor to Stripe’s product, engineering, and partnerships teams, working on complex technical, commercial, and regulatory challenges that straddle financial services, business processes, and technology.

Key Responsibilities

• Counsel the global product team on issues relating to the adoption of artificial intelligence, data protection, privacy law, consumer protection, and product development.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, partnerships, privacy, and security teams to deliver pragmatic and actionable legal advice.
• Draft, review, and update internal and external-facing foundational terms and documents for Stripe’s products.
• Analyze laws, regulatory updates, and industry trends dealing with consumer financial data access to proactively advise clients on potential product impacts.
