Job summary

Stripe's Product Legal team seeks a product lawyer to advise on regulatory, privacy, and commercial aspects of Stripe's products, including AI initiatives. You will partner with product, engineering, and partnerships teams to shape legal strategy and safeguards across the product lifecycle.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience as a qualified lawyer in tech companies or law firms.
• Strong ability to understand complex product use cases and business models.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and judgment.

Responsibilities

• Counsel the global product team on AI adoption, data protection, and product development.
• Collaborate with engineering, partnerships, privacy and security teams to deliver legal guidance.
• Draft, review, and update foundational terms and documents for Stripe products.
• Stay updated on consumer financial data laws and regulatory developments affecting products.
• Partner with product teams to provide strategic legal input for roadmaps and decisions.
