Job summary

RBC in Jersey City is seeking a Manager Product Control to support the Commodities trading desk with daily mark-to-market valuation, P&L reporting and reconciliations, and coordination across Front Office, Middle Office and IT.

You will perform daily valuation, monitor MTM movements, prepare monthly entries, and contribute to regulatory reporting while seeking process improvements to boost productivity.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Capital Markets experience supporting a trading desk.
• Excellent MS Excel and SQL skills.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication abilities.
• Able to work effectively and reliably under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Daily P&L production, month-end reporting and reconciliation.
• Primary contact for Front Office queries and timely task tracking.
• Daily valuation and MTM movement analysis for deals and curves.
• Monitor operational, valuation and risk management issues.
• Communicate results to Desk Head and explain variances.
• Prepare monthly G/L entries and reconciliations.
• Support statutory/regulatory reporting and Head Office templates.
• Identify opportunities to improve valuation and risk reporting.
• Perform daily P&L and Balance Sheet reconciliations.
