Job summary

CIBC is seeking an Associate, Product Control in New York to support the US Finance team. You will produce Daily P&L reports for Capital Markets and Treasury, reconcile results, and ensure IFRS and US GAAP compliance.

You will collaborate with Front Office, Risk, Technology and other groups to drive process improvements and onboarding of new products. The role requires 3–5 years of relevant experience and a strong foundation in accounting, with advanced Excel, Alteryx and Power BI skills.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in Economics, Finance or Accounting with 3–5 years of experience.
• Strong accounting knowledge and ability to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Experience with Capital Markets and Treasury products is essential.

Responsibilities

• Prepare Daily P&L reports for Capital Markets and Treasury businesses.
• Reconcile P&L with actual results for period-end reporting.
• Review IPV results and manage sign-off with stakeholders.
• Ensure IFRS and US GAAP compliance in financial reporting.
• Identify and implement process improvements and automation.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Front Office, Risk, Technology, and Finance.
