ProSource Industries is seeking a detail‑oriented Product Configuration Coordinator I to support our manufacturing documentation. You will translate customer information into clear production references, maintain control records, and assist with internal requests under guidance.

The role requires basic reading of technical documents and drawings, proficiency with office software, and a commitment to accurate records. Training on document management and revision control will be provided.

Product Configuration Coordinator Level 1

We are seeking a motivated and detail‑oriented Product Configuration Coordinator I to support our documentation processes. The Product Configuration Coordinator I is an entry‑level position responsible for creating, maintaining, and updating assembly drawings, visual aids, and controlled technical documentation to support manufacturing operations. Working under guidance, this role translates customer‑provided information into clear and accurate production references, follows established document control and revision procedures, and assists with internal documentation requests. The ideal candidate possesses basic computer skills, strong attention to detail, and a willingness to learn manufacturing documentation standards and processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create internal assembly drawings from approved customer engineering drawings and requirements.
• Prepare basic visual aids and production references using established formats.
• Read basic engineering drawings and learn customer documentation requirements.
• Organize production documentation packages for review and manufacturing use.
• Check assigned documents for completeness and report missing or conflicting information.
• Upload approved technical information to designated document management systems.
• Maintain organized departmental files and records for easy retrieval.
• Follow revision procedures and archive obsolete or superseded documents.
• Support internal documentation requests and collaborate with team members.
• Track assigned tasks, communicate progress, and elevate issues affecting completion

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Manufacturing document control, administrative support, or technical documentation experience preferred.
• Basic ability to read technical documents and manufacturing drawings.
• Proficiency in office productivity applications and ability to learn document management systems.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and commitment to accurate records.
• Effective communication skills and ability to follow procedures and work across departments.
• Willingness to learn product requirements, revision control, and quality management practices.

Work Environment

• Work is performed in both office and manufacturing floor settings.
• Operates in a fast‑paced work environment.
• May be exposed to elevated noise levels while working on the manufacturing floor.
• Must follow all applicable company safety policies and site‑specific safety procedures.
