Job summary

Safran is seeking a Configuration Management Analyst to improve consistency, efficiency, and productivity of product development across the enterprise. You will manage data, support engineering teams, and ensure compliance with customer and company requirements through the life cycle of developed and supported products.

The role emphasizes effective communication within the engineering organization and applying standards to CM processes and systems across projects.

Qualifications

• University degree required; related field preferred.
• Alternatively, an advanced degree with relevant experience qualifies.

Responsibilities

• Communicates with Engineering to understand support requirements.
• Develops product knowledge across the domain.
• Drives improvements based on end user experience.
• Reviews, analyzes, and releases change requests to drawings.
• Reviews, analyzes, and releases deviations/waivers.
• Applies knowledge from Engineering and Government Standards; acts as CM contact.
• Collaborates with engineers on test procedures and results implications.
• Collaborates to release procedures for testing systems and equipment.
• Analyzes, maintains, compiles and formats data and design changes.
• Reviews drawings, reports, and engineering documentation.
