Job summary

Flat River Group, LLC in Kentwood, MI is seeking a Product Compliance Specialist to ensure products meet CPSA, TSCA and related US requirements.

You will work with Product Compliance, Vendor Management, Sales, and Logistics to review documentation, obtain certifications, and resolve compliance issues. The role includes eFiling and process improvement, with a hybrid schedule and competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in QA/Regulatory Compliance/Import/Export.
• Experience with CPSIA, CPSA, and testing processes.
• Experience reviewing third-party testing docs and CPCs.
• Knowledge of state/federal regulations such as Prop 65.
• Experience with product compliance documentation and eFiling requirements.

Responsibilities

• Review product requirements and vendor documents.
• Classify incoming products for regulation and track accordingly.
• Obtain and review compliance docs for US market; resolve issues.
• E-File data in the CPSC product registry.
• Coordinate with Logistics and Broker on timely eFiling.
• Improve processes and update SOPs for compliance.
• Educate vendors on retail expectations and documentation.
