Job summary

Flat River Group is seeking a Product Compliance Specialist in a hybrid role based in Michigan. You will review and ensure product compliance for imported goods, collaborating across Product Compliance, Vendor Management, Sales, and Logistics teams.

The ideal candidate has experience with CPSA, CPSIA, TSCA and a strong eye for detail, with the ability to educate partners and document best practices as the company expands into new markets.

Responsibilities

• Apply SME-level knowledge of US product compliance requirements (CPSA, TSCA) to imported goods.
• Identify products subject to regulation and classify them using trackers.
• Request and review vendor documentation; resolve any document errors.
• E-file compliance data within the CPSC product registry.
• Coordinate with Logistics and Broker to ensure timely filings.
• Collaborate on process improvements and update SOPs.
