MKS Instruments is seeking a Compliance Engineering Co-op for a 6-month term starting January 2027. You will partner with the Compliance Engineering team to support product environmental compliance, documentation, test plans, and 3rd party safety agency interactions.

Snapshot of responsibilities includes research on RoHS/REACH, maintaining databases, creating test plans and reports, and mitigating non-compliant designs while traveling up to 25% as needed.

Qualificações

• 3rd year or higher enrolled in a Bachelor's Degree program in electrical engineering or related majors.
• Understanding of electrical schematics.
• Master with MS tools such as MS Office, MS Teams.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Excellent trouble shooting skills for high power electrical and electronic products.
• Knowledge domestic and international standards and regulations.
• Knowledge/experience of product compliance including environmental regulations, product safety, EMC compliance, etc.

Responsabilidades

• Product environmental compliance supports and research (RoHS, REACH, TSCA, PFAS).
• Documentation and database maintenance and updates.
• Test plans and test report generations.
• Mitigations of non-compliance designs.
• 3rd party safety agency supports (UL, TUV, CSA, etc.).
• EMC testing and certification.
• Travel up to 25% may be required.
