Job summary

Snap Inc. seeks a Manager of Communications to craft compelling narratives around Snapchat, SPECS, and major product initiatives. This role requires translating complex tech into accessible stories and building strong media relationships across consumer and tech sectors.

You will partner with Product, Marketing, Partnerships, Policy, and Legal teams to shape coordinated campaigns, and prepare executives for media moments in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional experience in communications, public relations, product communications, or related field.
• Experience in consumer technology, media, entertainment, or fast-moving consumer business is preferred.
• Ability to translate complex technology into clear narratives for diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute communications strategies for Snap products, features, launches, and initiatives.
• Build relationships with reporters and secure proactive coverage beyond launches.
• Collaborate with Product, Marketing, Partnerships, Policy, Legal, and other teams to coordinate campaigns.
• Draft messaging, Newsroom posts, FAQs, pitches, and briefing materials for executives.
