Job summary

Amazon Leo Communications Manager will lead core consumer product communications for Amazon Leo, shaping messaging, engaging media, and coordinating campaigns across earned, owned, and social channels.

You will collaborate with product and marketing teams to craft strategy, anticipate issues, and scale programs globally, with a focus on clear, accessible storytelling for a worldwide audience of tens of millions of customers.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of recent professional communications or public relations experience.
• Bachelor's degree.
• Experience building strategic relationships with stakeholders, including communicating and collaborating across teams and functions.
• Proven track record launching new consumer technology products and services.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with ability to translate technical concepts for broad audiences.

Responsibilities

• Drive announcements and launches for Leo consumer products and services
• Build and execute proactive communications campaigns to build consumer awareness of Amazon Leo
• Drive proactive and reactive engagement with relevant media, analysts and influencers
• Develop high-quality content for earned, owned, and social channels
• Build and execute managed product reviews program
• Anticipate and manage potential reputational issues
• Develop and manage mechanisms to help scale Leo product communications globally
