Astrix Inc. in Princeton, NJ is seeking a Lab Technician to join our growing team. The role focuses on preparing consumer product formulations and conducting chemistry-focused analyses in a fast-paced environment.

Qualified candidates will have a BS in Chemistry or related science and hands-on laboratory experience, with a preference for wet chemistry skills (pH, viscosity, titrations). Attention to detail is essential.

Qualificações

• BS in Chemistry, Biology or related Science
• Hands-on laboratory experience preferred (can be from school)
• Preference is for experience with wet chemistry (pH, viscosity, titrations, etc.)
• Must be able to work in a fast paced, high priority environment
• Must have strong work ethic and attention to detail

Responsabilidades

• Prepare consumer product formulations, and reformulations
• Perform chemistry focused analysis of product including measure pH, specific gravity and viscosity, perform stability tests, product performance evaluation, fragrance evaluation by test panels, record keeping and housekeeping
• Analyze and report data to research
• Conduct all applicable testing relating to product care in the product group.
