Job summary

Sysco Northeast RDC is seeking a Category Manager to support category initiatives, manage local assortment, and drive supplier negotiations in a fast-paced distribution environment.

You will collaborate with sales, planners, and brokers, delivering training and updates on product assortment while promoting Sysco Brand sales across the OpCo. A bachelor's degree and 3+ years of relevant experience are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
• Experience in retail, wholesale, or distribution is required.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and Excel skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Execute Category Management initiatives within assigned categories.
• Support supplier relationships and promotional activities.
• Coordinate with planners, suppliers, brokers, and sales teams.
• Promote local assortment and manage supplier negotiations.
• Review and adjust pricing in collaboration with RevMan.
