Talentoma is seeking a detail-oriented Catalog Administrator to coordinate product updates, verify item data, and maintain accurate listings from a home office.

You will use Salsify, Google Sheets, and Asana to manage requests, track progress, and ensure timely publication of catalog changes across the ecommerce storefront.

Formación

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • About 1-2 years of product catalog, ecommerce administration, or merchandising support experience preferred.
  • Familiarity with product identifiers, category structures, variant relationships, and the difference between source information and approved storefront information.
  • Understanding of online merchandising, category management, and how approved product assortment planning decisions translate into catalog groupings.
  • Working knowledge of product lifecycle stages, including new item setup, active listing changes, and retiring outdated listings after approval.
  • Comfort navigating structured product fields, spreadsheet comparisons, and shared task queues while keeping clear references for each requested change.
  • Clear written communication for requesting missing specifications, explaining discrepancies, and providing concise progress updates to colleagues with different responsibilities.
  • A reliable computer, high-speed internet, and quiet private workspace, with availability for the 40-hour weekly commitment and agreed working days and shift times.
  • Authorization to work in the United States.
  • Fully remote work focused on desk-based product catalog coordination from your home workspace.
  • Structured onboarding and training on the named systems, with guided practice in catalog updates, spreadsheet checks, and task tracking.
  • Regular check-ins with the team lead to review priorities, clarify product information questions, and discuss progress.
  • Opportunities to build product information management, online merchandising, category organization, and cross-team coordination skills through everyday catalog work.

Responsabilidades

  • Review incoming catalog requests, identify requested changes, and organize work by priority and readiness.
  • Check item identifiers, product names, dimensions, materials, and variant details against approved sources before updates.
  • Maintain product attributes in a PIM system such as Salsify, linking updates to sources and references.
  • Arrange products within approved categories and assortments, ensuring related items appear together without duplicates.
  • Compare incoming item lists using Google Sheets; flag missing attributes and duplicates.
  • Coordinate request owners and review steps through Asana, noting dependencies and handoffs.
  • Follow up with merchandising or purchasing when source data is incomplete and escalate conflicting specs.
  • Prepare approved catalog updates for release and coordinate publication timing with ecommerce ops.
  • Check published listings against updates and route corrections to owners.
  • Finish the shift by updating handoff notes and maintaining quality of attribute accuracy and follow-ups.
