Caterpillar is seeking a Product Assembler 2 in Sanford, NC to assemble/test parts for BCP machines, rotate through positions, and follow standard work procedures. This 3rd shift role emphasizes safety, quality, and teamwork.

The position offers $20.20/hour starting pay with an 8% shift premium, potential overtime, and a comprehensive Day ONE benefits package plus a quarterly bonus. Prior heavy equipment assembly experience is required.

Qualifications

• Must have 6 months of heavy equipment machine assembly experience.
• Ability to Follow Standard Work.
• Rely on independent decision-making and problem-solving to complete job tasks.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize work.
• Effective communication skills.
• Excellent Attendance Record.

Responsabilités

• Assemble/test parts, components, or systems for BCP machines according to the specified work orders and other duties as assigned.
• Keep the work area clean and orderly condition.
• Rotate to various positions within the Job Function area to perform related activities.
• Use various tools provided in the work area to perform assembly duties and may include the use of lifting devices to move heavy components of weights of more than 35 lbs.
• Follow documented procedures standard work, routings, and blueprints to perform safe and defect-free assembly and/or adjustment of components and prime product.
• Follow and utilizes CPS principles of 5S, Continuous Improvement Idea reporting, Waste Elimination, and Standard Work

• 3rd Shift Starting Pay: $20.20/hour (+8% shift premium)
• 3rd Shift Schedule: Monday-Thursday 7:30 PM-5:30 AM, Overtime as business needs require on Fridays

As a Product Assembler 2 at Caterpillar, you will:

• Assemble/test parts, components, or systems for BCP machines according to the specified work orders and other duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements (with or without reasonable accommodation):
