Job summary

Wizards of the Coast is seeking a Product Architect for Magic New Player Growth to shape the vision and roadmap for acquisition-focused products. You will guide concepts from early ideas through launches, balancing learning goals with player engagement.

You will connect player needs, business goals, and creative opportunities, leading teams across Strategy, Game Design, Creative, Marketing, and Insights to drive growth.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in product design, game design, or consumer product innovation.
• Experience leading cross-functional work and aligning partners.
• Knowledge of Magic: The Gathering and the trading card game category.
• Understanding how players discover, learn, purchase, and build communities around games.

Responsibilities

• Set vision, strategy, and roadmap for Magic’s new-player and acquisition-focused products.
• Create a connected journey from awareness to learning, first purchase, and long-term engagement.
• Develop concepts that expand Magic’s appeal to underrepresented audiences in tabletop gaming.
• Lead introductory products, acquisition offerings, solo experiences, and other innovations.
• Define product requirements, key selling points, learning goals, and success measures.
