Job summary

Meta in Atlanta seeks a Data Scientist to shape analytics for products across its family of apps, including Facebook, Instagram, Messenger, WhatsApp, and Oculus. You will leverage large data sets, apply statistical methods, and inform product strategy with data-driven insights.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams across Product, Engineering, Research, Data Engineering, Marketing, Sales, Finance and more to drive impact and growth. Equity, bonus, and benefits are part of the package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, Math, Stats, or related field.
• At least 6 years analytics experience (4+ years with a PhD).
• Bachelor's degree in Mathematics or Statistics or related field.
• Experience using SQL, Python, or R for data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Work with large and complex data sets to solve challenging problems using analytics and statistics.
• Apply quantitative analysis, experimentation, data mining, and data presentation to guide product strategies.
• Identify and measure success of product efforts through forecasting and monitoring key metrics.
• Define opportunities and levers to improve the product and influence roadmaps.
• Partner with Product, Engineering, and cross-functional teams to inform and execute strategy.
