Job summary

Meta is seeking a Data Scientist, Product Analytics to shape data-driven product decisions across Facebook, Instagram, Messenger, WhatsApp, and more. You will analyze large datasets, develop hypotheses, test opportunities, and guide product strategy with cross-functional teams including Product, Engineering, Research, and Marketing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, Math or related technical field or equivalent practical experience
• 4+ years of analytics experience with SQL, Python, and/or R
• 4+ years solving analytical problems using quantitative approaches and leading data-driven projects

Responsibilities

• Work with large and complex data sets to solve a wide array of problems using analytical and statistical methods
• Apply quantitative analysis, experimentation, data mining, and data presentation to inform product strategies
• Identify and measure success of product efforts through goal setting, forecasting, and monitoring key metrics
• Define opportunities and levers to improve the product and drive roadmaps
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering and cross-functional teams to inform and execute product strategy and investment decisions
