Job summary

Sunbelt Rentals is seeking a SmartEquip Product Manager in Fort Mill, SC to oversee backend/frontend maintenance and drive platform improvements. You will represent user needs, coordinate with suppliers, and lead pilots and deployments to deliver business value quickly.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, IT, or related field or equivalent experience plus 3–5 years in construction or equipment rental.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams with product management.
• Strong written and verbal communication; ability to develop process maps, decks, and project plans.

Responsibilities

• Manages all aspects of SmartEquip administrative duties including backend and frontend maintenance.
• Supports platform enhancements and ensures voice of the customer in development.
• Leads user acceptance testing, product pilots, and implementations.
• Maintains a branch administration database and collaborates cross-functionally.
• Develops and maintains training and support materials for SmartEquip.
