Job summary

Ntrepid LLC is seeking a Product Analyst to bridge product vision and software development. You will translate customer needs into user stories, validate acceptance criteria, and maintain a prioritized backlog aligned with the roadmap.

You will collaborate with engineering, design, and product teams in an Agile environment, ensuring clear communication, milestones, and value delivery while safeguarding security-focused considerations.

Job description

The Product Analyst will serve as the liaison between the product vision and software implementation/development. This role is responsible for communication on development progress, milestones, and deliverables across the organization. Coordinates with those involved in the design, modification and evaluation of all phases of a specific product or group of products.

• Work in an Agile environment to plan product releases that balance customer needs and business goals
• Work alongside Tech Lead and Scrum Master in the planning, execution, and review of each sprint, identifying opportunities and risks
• Work with Product Manager to understand and validate customer needs; contribute to product roadmap
• Translate needs into user stories, define their acceptance criteria, and verify when they are met
• Be the expert of customer workflows and needs, acting as the voice of our customers for team questions
• Ensure transparency into the development progress and relay milestones and deliverables to stakeholders
• Gather needs and feedback from many sources and decide what will best deliver value to customers; including decisions on what NOT to build
• Manage, refine, and prioritize the backlog of needs to drive business value based on product roadmap and strategy
• Collaborate with departments across the organization to get buy in on the priority order of the product backlog
• Work closely with your development team to ensure they understand problems to be solved, expected outcomes, and business context
• Develops understanding of how features/workflows impact customer retention and customer growth
• Assists in prioritizing the backlog to drive business value
• Develops understanding of our current customers/ users and why they use our products/features
• Targeted research of specific competitors
• U.S. Citizenship Required
• Demonstrated experience and understanding of Agile Scrum Methodology
• Strong interpersonal skills, ability to effectively communicate, negotiate, motivate, and build alignment with teams across different functions in the organization
• Proactive, self-starter with excellent organization skills and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
• Product Owner or Scrum Master certification
• Experience working with Atlassian tools
• Experience in a Product Owner role in an enterprise software company
• Knowledge in the cybersecurity domain
