Job summary

Paramount Pictures is seeking an experienced News Producer to lead a team of anchors, reporters, photographers, editors and other journalists. You will craft compelling TV and collaborate on digital content daily, delivering timely and accurate news and weather coverage with strong breaking-news focus.

You’ll guide moments to highlight anchors, work with managers to curate content for evolving audiences, and use video, graphics, and social media to deliver memorable coverage while meeting tight

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Broadcast Journalism or Communications.
• 2+ years’ experience as a producer in commercial television news.
• Naturally curious and competitive leader; phenomenal interpersonal skills, conversational writing, and efficiency working in teams and on tight deadlines.
• Experience with iNews, Tagboard, Grass Valley Stratus/Edius, Ross Overdrive.

Additional Information

Hiring salary range: $56,048.00 – 62,800.00.

The hiring salary range applies to New York, California, Colorado, Washington, and most other geographies. Starting pay depends on geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, life insurance, disability benefits, tuition assistance, and PTO, or as otherwise dictated by the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
