Paramount Pictures in Los Angeles is seeking a Technician (Production Support) to work with editorial staff and field crews in acquiring, routing, and operating equipment to capture live signals for the LA duopoly.

The role includes editing video with nonlinear editors for the newscast, studio support including mic handling and camera operations, and assisting producers with technical needs in the Production Control Room.

CBS LA is looking for a Technician (Production Support) for the Los Angeles Duopoly. The Production Tech role is responsible for working with editorial staff and field crews in acquiring, routing, and operating equipment to acquire live signals. Editing video using nonlinear editing equipment for the newscast and supporting the technical needs of the Production Control Room and Studio.

Job Function:

Duties include acquiring and routing RF and bonded cellular signals with the ability to multi-task under deadline pressures. Edit video including Vo, Sots, PKG’s, Knowledge of Edius and Grass Valley systems a plus. Studio support includes assisting guests with microphones, running handheld cameras, and assisting producers with technical needs.

Hiring Salary Range: $62.74 - 62.74.

The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education.
