Job summary

Bashas' is seeking an Assistant Produce Team Leader in Phoenix, AZ to support the Produce Team Leader and drive excellent customer service. You will lead, train, and communicate with Team Members while ensuring high standards for fresh produce, food safety, and merchandising.

You will interact with customers daily, share knowledge about foods, and help manage department labor, safety, and productivity in a fast-paced environment. This role requires reliability and strong teamwork.

Qualifications

• Friendly and customer service oriented; interest in food is a plus.
• Experience in customer service, food service, grocery, or related roles.
• Self-motivated with high attention to detail, quality and presentation.
• Strong communication skills with coworkers and customers.
• Able to work independently and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Able to read, understand, and follow verbal and written directions.
• Reliable with the ability to meet the work schedule and attendance policy.
• Physical ability to stand, lift up to 50 lbs, and perform stocking tasks.
