Job summary

Bashas' Inc. is seeking an Operations Team Lead in Maricopa, AZ to supervise and direct store activities, coach staff, and uphold merchandising standards across departments.

You’ll ensure product availability, execute sales programs, and manage inventory and reporting to meet store goals. The role requires strong leadership, adherence to company policies, and a focus on customer service in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age; 21 years of age for any position that serves alcohol.

Responsibilities

• Lead store team as a role model, coach, performance evaluator and trainer.
• Create a store environment that employees enjoy and customers want to shop in.
• Supervise merchandising across departments (grocery, non-foods, frozen, liquor, HBC).
• Coordinate with night crew and day clerks to ensure proper merchandising and product availability.
• Build product end caps, floor displays and side stacks.
• Support Bashas'/Food City sales and merchandising programs.
• Oversee ordering, inspect received products, and maintain shelf stock and shrink control.
• Collaborate with warehouse buyers and vendors to ensure attractive offerings.
• Enforce store rules and company policies; train new staff.
• Help create department budget and track profit, loss, sales, and expenses.
• Ensure compliance with health and weights & measures guidelines and signage.
