Qualifications

• 18+ months retail Team Member experience and 6+ months of supervisory experience.
• Strong product knowledge and awareness of regulatory and safety policies.
• Proficient in communication, leadership, and team development.

Responsibilities

• Develops and maintains creative store layout and product merchandising.
• Works with Team Leader to achieve sales, purchasing, and labor targets.
• Assists Team Leader in analysis of sales, reports and labor.
• Demonstrates advanced product knowledge and develops/maintains awareness of new products.
• Maintains vendor relationships and ensures paperwork is submitted for processing.
• Works with Team Leader to resolve team concerns or issues.
• Functions as point person in absence of Team Leader and leads in-store operations.
• Sets and achieves high standards of retail execution and customer service.
• Fosters a positive environment with teamwork and strong morale.
• Directs Team Members to meet customer needs and requests promptly.
• Selects, trains, and mentors Team Members; conducts performance evaluations.
• Communicates and models Whole Foods Market vision and goals.
