Job summary

Union Restaurant Depot is a wholesale, cash-and-carry foodservice distributor seeking a Stocker - Produce to stock shelves, serve customers, and maintain a clean, safe warehouse. Must assist with inventory rotation and price accuracy in a fast-paced environment.

Position offers 8–10 hour shifts, full/part-time hourly roles, and union benefits. Must be able to lift heavy items and work in cold/freezing conditions with forklift or pallet jack operations.

Qualifications

• Prompt, courteous customer service is required.
• Accurate stocking and shelf replenishment.
• Ability to inspect for HACCP compliance and safety.
• Monitor inventory rotation to prevent shrinkage.
• Ensure shelf pricing matches current prices.

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt, courteous, and friendly customer service.
• Remove boxes from pallets and stock shelves; open boxes and place items on shelves.
• Organize and front-face items on shelves.
• Perform inspections to meet HACCP regulations.
• Assist in daily inventory reviews for product rotation to prevent shrinkage.
• Ensure shelf pricing is up-to-date and reflects current pricing.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness through a regular cleaning schedule.
• Monitor department floors for safety hazards; promptly handle spills and remove trash.
• Coordinate with Hi-Lo operators to keep the selling floor stocked and safe.
• Inform supervisors of low stock or out-of-stock merchandise.
