Meijer Inc. is seeking a Food Clerk to deliver outstanding customer service in our Fresh departments. You will provide product knowledge, help customers locate items, and maintain clean, attractive displays.

This role emphasizes a friendly attitude, reliability, and proactive engagement with shoppers in a fast-paced retail setting. You will work across departments such as Meat, Seafood, Bakery, Deli, Produce and Grocery, stock merchandise, and follow strict food safety standards.

Qualifications

• Customer-focused with a friendly attitude.
• Ability to learn and use store technology.
• Willingness to be physically active.
• Previous retail or food service experience is helpful, but not required.

What You’ll Do

As a Food Clerk, you play a key role in creating a fresh, welcoming, and well‑run store experience within our Fresh departments.

You’ll:
