Meijer Inc. is seeking a Food Clerk to deliver friendly, efficient customer service while using product knowledge to assist shoppers in our Fresh departments. You will contribute to clean, well‑stocked displays and operate technology to complete daily tasks.

The role emphasizes customer‑first service, safety procedures, and active engagement with customers and teammates in a fast‑paced retail environment.

What You’ll Do

As a Food Clerk, you play a key role in creating a fresh, welcoming, and well‑run store experience within our Fresh departments.

You’ll:

• Build positive connections with customers and teammates

• Share product knowledge and help customers find what they need

• Maintain full, fresh, and visually appealing product displays

• Stock, rotate, and merchandise product according to standards

• Use technology to complete tasks efficiently and accurately

• Follow food safety, sanitation, and quality procedures

• Work across departments including Meat, Seafood, Bakery, Deli, Produce and Grocery

• Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly
