Job summary

Community Food Co-op in Bozeman, MT is seeking a Produce Staff member for the West Main location. This full-time temporary role runs Sunday through Thursday, 6am to 1:30pm, from Nov 1 to Dec 31, 2026, supporting the Produce Department with prep, stocking, and friendly service.

Responsibilities include prepping, rotating, restocking wet racks, maintaining signage and sanitary prep areas, and assisting with culls and prep for the next shift.

Qualifications

• Experience with customer service, retail sales or stocking that demonstrates ability to meet expectations.
• Retail food service experience desired.
• Familiarity with natural foods helpful; willingness to learn required.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule; early morning, daytime, evening, holiday, and weekend shifts required.
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs, occasionally up to 50 lbs, and stand for long periods.

Job Location: Co-op West Main - Bozeman, MT 59715, Salary Range: $20.00 Hourly, A full-time temporary position is available. Shifts are Sunday- Thursday, 6am-1:30pm. Must be available from November 1st to December 31st 2026. This is a seasonal/temporary position.

Purpose: Efficiently and accurately prep and stock product in the Produce Department. Provide friendly, knowledgeable service to customers.

Specific Responsibilities of Produce Staff

• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs. throughout shift, occasionally up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to stand for long periods and to bend and twist repeatedly; ability to lift product overhead and/or to climb ladders with product.
• Ability to work in cold environment.
