Kroger Co. in West Valley City, UT is seeking a friendly, customer-focused associate to deliver outstanding service in the produce department. You will greet customers, answer questions, promote brand products, and help maintain a clean, safe store environment.

You will assist with stocking, labeling, quality checks, and produce displays while following safety procedures. Prior retail experience and strong communication are a plus.

Qualifications

• Ability to handle stressful situations.
• Effective communication skills.
• Knowledge of basic math (counting, addition and subtraction).
• Current food handlers permit once employed.

Responsabilités

• Role model the 3A’s of Friendly: acknowledge, assist and appreciate our Customers.
• Promote Corporate Brands to customers.
• Create an environment that makes customers feel welcome, important and appreciated by answering questions about products.
• Gain knowledge of products and respond to questions and make suggestions.
• Inform customers of produce specials and promotions.
• Label, stock and inventory department merchandise.
• Review/inspect products for quality and freshness and flag items as needed.
