Job summary

Whole Foods Market in Boca Raton is seeking a Produce Team Member to support receiving, displaying, and selling produce to meet WFM standards. Assist with deliveries, stock shelves, and maintain clean, appealing displays while delivering friendly service to customers and team members.

The role requires flexibility to work a varied schedule, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and a commitment to quality and sanitation. Prior retail experience is not required, and training will be provided.

• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Ensures a fresh and appealing display by keeping cases and shelves clean and well stocked by front-facing, checking codes, rotating and removing out-of-date products.
• Assists Team Leader in organizing and displaying volume and seasonal items.
• Monitors and prevents spoilage and communicates waste to buyers, Team Leaders, and shift supervisor.
• Completes spoilage, sampling, temperature, and sweep worksheets as required.
• Assists with periodic inventory checks.
• Arrives to work station on time, groomed, dressed and ready to work; works all scheduled shifts and attends required trainings and meetings.
• Provides excellent customer service, addresses needs of customers in a timely and effective manner and models suggestive selling techniques; answers phones and pages promptly and courteously.
• Maximizes sales potential through effective and proper procedures for prepping, storing, rotating, stocking, and merchandising product.
• Follows and complies with established procedures, including Weights and Measures, health and sanitation, and safe work practices.
• Maintains a clean and sanitary working and shopping environment; maintains equipment per WFM standards.
• Performs opening, mid, and closing duties; ensures accuracy of signs and pricing.
• Reports safety hazards and violations immediately.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
